#Becki Zaffino, December 2016: “We found Katherine extremely helpful and we had a great stay at Combe Martin. The accommodation was perfect, with our own family room but also access to a shared (super cozy) living room and kitchen. The living room has loads of great toys and books for the children to play with and the wood burning stove it great. Combe Martin is stunning, with fabulous walks up the coast path. Katherine and Stewart were really helpful in showing us the best routes to walk and what to see. The people in the village were also extremely friendly and nice.”
#Dominic Winter, December 2016: “Excellent stay, lovely hosts, room and breakfast options, parking was easy and nice area.”
#George Mackenzie, December 2016: “This is a really special place to stay on the North Devon coast. It has a wonderful warmth and a unique charming feel – and so do the hosts, Katherine and Stuart. The rooms and accommodation are generous in terms of space and very clean and cosy. We found this to be a really convenient base for surfing in and around Croyde/Woolacombe/Lynmouth and in 5 years worth of surf trips down to the area I’ve never found somewhere nicer to stay, nor friendlier or more open hosts. This is an Air BnB gem.”
#Rachel McCrory, October 2016: “Had a very brief stopover at Katherine’s place during a coastal path walk. Had a warm welcome and a comfy bed – just what was needed!”
#Lorenzo Ruggi, October 2016: “The Katherine’s B&B is an amazing place run by amazing people. The room was clean and very comfortable and Katherine and her family were super kind! Nearby the B&B there are the sea and many shops and a very good restaurant pub in front of it. Or if you want only to relax and rest this is a wonderfull place. Lorenzo.”
#Dishita Solanki, October 2016: “Katherine’s warmth, and the positive aura in the house completely made our trip. We had a terrible day the day before with our car breakdown, due to which we had to made few changes to the booking with katherine, but she was so understanding and sympathetic that it made us feel so comfortable. Above all the home has an amazing energy. Combe martin coast is walking distance which was a bonus. Will definately be visiting her place again in the future.”

The rooms were pleasant and they offered anything they could to make sure our stay was pleasurable. Katherine was up early to send us off and made sure we’d grabbed breakfast. Very polite, welcoming, and a great location for getting out and about. Would highly recommend!”

#Paul Rougieux, September 2016: “Katherine’s place is kid friendly. There are toys in the living room and children books in the corridor. If you like the yoga / alternative healing atmosphere, you’ll be delighted. But we didn’t try the yoga session. On the road to the beach, the only slight inconvenience is that the pavement / side walks are short and switch sides. Katherine gave us a map of the area with walking instructions. We enjoyed beautiful views of the cliffs and green hills. Kids had fun walking besides the sheep. We were lucky with the weather and could spend all day walking around the hills of Combe-Martin and relaxing on the beach. Be sure to go at low tide, the beach is much larger. We had a nice stay.”

#Bhaveet Radia, August 2016: “The three of us had a really lovely stay in Combe Martin. Katherine was a really nice host, and made sure our arrival was really straightforward and stress free. The room was very cosy, clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space for the three of us. Although the bathroom was shared with another set of guests, this was never an issue. The breakfast in the morning was very nice and Katherine made us a delicious smoothie. Katherine was incredibly friendly and knew so much about the local area. We would not hesitate to recommend!”

Katherine and her partner Stuart were really welcoming, we felt at ease, they were really accommodating with our 3 year old. The room was a great size, everything was very clean and tidy. We parked in a pub across the road for £5 for two days and nights. The location was great, you could walk to Combe Martin beach and village. We would like to come back in the future and would definitely like to stay at this B&B again.”
